Why, Disney? Why?!

When I saw the teaser trailer for Tangled on the Princess and the Frog DVD, I was so excited. It looked like Disney was going to keep the hand-drawn animation for the new Disney princess movie too! Then I saw the official first trailer today. CG animation yet again! Ugh! Disney CG animated movies are pretty shitty next to Pixar and even Dreamworks

Tangled... is that the Rapunzel project i heard rumors about?
=( aaahhhhhhhhh i'm so tired of CG. it gets so old, you know? unless it is really well-done. and even then, i'd take hand-drawn anyway. i guess it's just aesthetics. :shrug:

Nearly a decade later and I'm happy to say that the quality of Disney's CGI movies made a complete 180, starting with Tangled. I do still wish that they would do hand-drawn features from time to time though.
