i honestly don't think that they're really not talking to each other, but i think they're at a bit of a loss, because now their lives are just different and it takes some getting used to not being on similar schedules anymore. and michael is probably so overwhelmed with all the new things he can do that he momentarily forgot that he's left behind some things/some people that don't meant to go in the 'left behind' category.

aww bb, thank you so much! this was definitely one of the hardest stories i wrote so far and i'm glad it turned out the way it did.

i really thought ryan seemed quite sad and down for a while now and i just liked the thought of him being comforted by someone you wouldn't think of at first. and it just worked letting tony be that person for him because he just knows the side michael is on right now, while ryan just can't wrap his head around it.

you know the most twisted thing though? writing this and then waking up in the middle of the night/early morning and reading tweets from mp and ryan about how happy they are and forgetting for a moment that your own fic is not real and thinking, "oh my god, tony did it! they finally made up!" dude, THAT was twisted.

i'm so glad that this is done though. i had not expected for it to be this difficult.
