Apart from buttons and hooks & eyes the lemon yellow dress is done! Well, it won't have any trim tomorrow, but I'm not sure I want to put a lot/any on. I feel like the fabric speaks for itself. I might only run a line of trim around the edge of the jacket.

Isn't it fantastic? I'm currently debating between the navy I'd originally intended, and white to match the vest.

Thanks! I'd originally wanted just plain white for the vest, but does Joanns not carry the quilting cotton sateen anymore? But since it's a self stripe, it gives a nice subtle detail to the vest.

The large stores do - or some of them, anyway. But I'm glad you ended up having to use the stripe, heh.
