I've decided that I really like mid-century British writers and their humor. I've recently been reading Agatha Christie, Georgette Heyer, P.G. That's a toughie. I think I would have to go with either Half-Blood Prince or Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm leaning towards HBP, though. It was just relieving to me to read that, coming after Order of the Phoenix, which I felt was very dark and frustrating at times. Umbridge was so evil, and Harry was so angry. I just finished watching the National Spelling Bee.  It's like the ultimate geeky heaven for me--some people might be bored by it, but I am riveted. I was especially tickled by this year's winning word--Laodicean, meaning lukewarm or indifferent.
