Washington Hills Winery Columbia Valley Rainier Red, Grandview, WA, 13.5% - $6 - great name, but flat, unremarkable wine. In general, it's best to steer clear of wines that don't include the vintage year on the label (or other pertinent info such as alcohol content). Before I forget, I want to give a total thumbs up to Crios Argentinian Syrah/Bonardo (unfined and unfiltered). I would like to sing praises to another Montes Chilean wine - better yet, an affordable one ($9). 2004 Montes Reserve Merlot - Special Cuvee, Colchagua Valley, Curico, Chile, 14.0%.
