Just got back from my diabetes specialist appointment in the city. Found out that the 2 doses of prednisone they'd given me for the allergic reactions to the penicillin was very bad for me. The doc said that prednisone is basically a steroid & is very bad for controlling my hba1c... which is now back up to 8.4 because of this bullshit ( Read more... )

Monday: 1/2 hr on the bowflex.
Tuesday: 1/2 hr on the bowflex.
Wednesday: 1/2 hr on treadmill & 15 minutes or so on the bowflex.

My blood sugar got up to 27.9 today. That is bad. These workouts (I'm hoping) will help eventually. And then perhaps I will keep up with this workout plan & maybe even lose some weight. Lol ( Read more... )

Tonsilitis! Son of a ....

So I called in sick today & went to the emergency room. I've had a sore throat since last thursday & last night is swole up so damn bad I thought I was going to die. "What the fuck happened to my kneck?" :oD

I think I have strep throat. I am drinking lemon tea & honey. It was yummy & soothing at first, but now its kinda gross.

My monitor is literally screaming at me right now. Damn, I thought this beauty would last forever.

Hey, I just changed my resolution (or, made everything bigger) & the screaming stopped. Shit...

Wow... I just slept the entire afternoon to find out that there isn't going to be a night shift anymore (I was scheduled to work a 12 hour shift tonight, 7pm - 7am).
