Did I post about our supermarket trip? Well I took my own paper bags to put the veg in, which they didn't seem to mind about, so this is what I shall do from now on and forever! bad day
today didn't start off well - alarm didn't go off. First my phone lost a day, the alarm is set for mon-fri and it went off saturday and really confused me. Then it didn't go off on the monday. wow, I have got totally drawn into a drama post on sf_drama about a post on bad_makeup. Well lent has helped me decide what to do with my hair. I had dark brown dreads with a few of the under layer a kind of raspberry colour at the ends. I didn't take pics til it was ready to come out, so I don't have any nice ones of it. Then I took it out and put loose extensions in. Arseburgers! I bought a box of vegie burgers yesterday precisely because I know that they come loose in the box, not wrapped in plastic in the box, and then I open them, and lo and behold they now come wrapped in plastic inside. ooops. lent 3 among other things
I ran 9 miles yesterday as part of a race event (I was only competing against myself, I am not trying to "win"). It took my 1 hour 30 minutes and 39 seconds. I was aiming for about an hour and a half, so that's good. Alii_cat did it in an hour and 8 minutes, which is really good. I now need to get faster and increase my distance. this lent we have decided to give up the acquisition of new plastic. this means we cannot buy anything made of or packaged in plastic, nor get someone to buy it for us, nor remove the packaging before purchasing it. We will still be able to use the plastic we already had in the house ( Read more... )
