maybe the music department will offer a 'rapping 101' class or something...

i don't know who would teach but...yeah...i'll join you since i am the walking 8mile when i wear my hoody hood! and we can both attain rapping degree from Houghton College...but HOWEVER i bet no one is gonna hire us...

however, uhrm...wait...is that the show you watched in my room? i vaguely remember...i was probably asleep...all i know was that these people were rapping instead of talking to each other and i thought to myself "WOW"...as in "YIKES"

The pianist was an excellent movie.. except you have to mispronounce the title, otherwise people think you are saying a dirty word.

On a side note, i just purchased a copy of the roots - phrenology tonight. Someday you will see me freestylin'.

the pianist was amazing. oh my gosh. i want the soundtrack.

sooo cool you got phrenology. that's the next cd on my list. i've heard a few tracks, sooo good. break you off (w/ musiq) is so good. i've been listening to things fall apart (the cd before the new one) the past couple days, man i love that cd. man i love the roots. haha.

i would say yes...but...b/c i like the roots a lot, i feel that i should actually buy their cd. i would usually not mind getting a cd burned, but if it's an artist or group i really like then i buy the cd. call me weird, i dunno. but thanks so much for the offer. =) do you have any of their other cd's?

You're preaching to the choir, my friend. I just spent 100 bucks on cd's the other night. How many cd's did that net me? 8 cds. That's all. A measly 6 hours of music for the price of a hundred 99 cent whoppers at burger king. That's a month's worth of whoppers for a quarter of a day's worth of music. Talk about getting ripped off.

I am one of those weird "buy the album" people, but i figured i'd offer the album to you to see if you wanted to buy it. Nope, don't have any of their other albums.

Oh yeah, you need to work on your replying skills there.. talk to dave, he'll help you in that department.

happy now? haha. i never noticed the fine print "reply to this" until you and dave got on my case about the replying procedures.

i've done the same w/ cd's, spent so much money, and yeah it doesnt seem worth it. but it becomes worth it, esp. if they're quality cd's. i learned the hard way on that one, hearing like 2 songs from a cd, thinking the whole cd is good, and buying it, and the rest is crap. i hate that. that's why now i download as many songs as i can first. like if i know i might not find the cd, i dont mind someone burning it for me...like my friend steve is burning me a copy of one of the older cd's, from the early 90's, and i'm not sure i'd where and when i'd find that. but if it's something newer, like phrenology, i definitely would buy the cd. but yeah, cool you feel the same way, we're such quality music-enjoying people, more people should be like us. ;)
