you can tell i have a buttload of schoolwork to do. you know why? because my room is ridiculously clean, the rest of the house is spotless, the picture collages on the wall have been reconfigured, there is a new KYD 2nd semester calendar on the wall, and the dish drying rack is full of dishes. my reporting assignment and sociology paper, however,

hahahahahahahahahahaha i spent 2 hours reorganizing my closet yesterday. i switched all the clothes on the hangers so they were all facing the same direction. then, i hung them up first sorted by season, and then sorted by type of shirt (polos, button downs, tees, etc), and THEN sorted them in the preference that i like them (yellow polo first, then blue polo, etc, etc). so needless to say i feel your pain. or your overwhelming desire to clean/organize. whatever you want to call it.

at least you don't use retail therapy to procrastinate. i bought 6 (yes, that's right SIX) shirts yesterday, 3 of which were explicitly summery. but i justified it like "BUT IM GOING TO BE IN CALIFORNIA FOR A MONTH THEN VEGAS FOR SPRING BREAK SO ITS OKAY!!!" um, yeah, take my debit away from me please. in my own defense, five of the 6 shirts were only $20 when they were originally supposed to be $50-60. and they're cute shirts not ugly shirts.

YAY FOR INTERNSHIP!!! when you have a cool journalism job you can hire me to get your coffee.

oh my god, reorganizing the closet is the best. i haven't done that yet.. maybe instead of my sociology paper?

as for retail therapy, you know me.. i've definitely used it in the past. and i still would be if i weren't trying to cut back on my exhorbitant spending (did i spell that right?) and it IS ok to buy summery shirts because you WILL use them in Ca.
