I suppose it doesn't really matter that the ashes are mixed together in the teeny tiny urn but I was kind of hoping they'd be in separate bags to possibly do separate keepsakes.

Thankfully, sister and brother-in-law were able to FaceTime again tonight since it was really clear how close it was. He couldn’t talk, but he really was trying and we kept telling him it was OK and that we know. Bits of brain fluff
I woke up early and not feeling well (spleen? referred liver? pain). I did overeat some yesterday since I was grumpy for obvious reasons which any overeating gets that general area annoyed so need to not do that, like ever. Anyway, doing a sneaky WFH this morning as a result ( Read more... ) -

Saying goodbyes
This week just got progressively worse for JuneBug, to the point that even the anti-nausea/anti-vomiting was doing nothing and she couldn't keep anything down and she didn't want to eat. She was looking more and more miserable so Emily helped me get her out from under the bed so that I could take her in for her last visit this morning

I'm a basic bit...err witch today
It's going to get to the mid-80s today and my office is already too warm so I scrapped bringing in the gray wig that I'd put some braids and beads in since I knew I couldn't wear it (I already get randomly overheated too frequently lately).

Year one.
Took a self care day off today since it's the one year anniversary of Mom's death. I've distracted myself by doing useful things like taking some of the laundry I can't send out to the laundromat at 6am (SO nice to have nice clean rugs in the bathroom), I got a FreshDirect delivery so I'll have some fish and sauteed spinach for dinner tonight.
