It rained this morning and our doormat outside got soaked... no big deal but it takes days to dry. My parents came over and stepped on the rug before they came into the house. We finally have the internet at the house! Moving was a bitch. I will do one more big move in my life and then I'm done. Phil doesn't mind moving b/c he's moved around all his life... We are officially homeowners!

We finally got the final figures on the closing costs. It's $5900... the seller's pay $3000 and we pay $2900. We close and get the keys this afternoon.

We hunted high and low for furniture... finally found peices that we both agreed on only to find out that they didn't have the chair that we wanted in stock so we had to have it special ordered and would have to wait 8 weeks for it to come in.
