I just got back from a pretty rockin' jazz night. Lotus was the featured band, and they were unabashedly a jamband. An instrumental jamband, which was good because most jamband vocals are painful. I kind of regret announcing my official return to livejournal. I don't really have anything to say or any real interest in updating regularly. People are starting to get pretty furious that I haven't done any livejournal updates in about two months now. For many, looking forward to a slice of my trademark wit was all that got them through the drudgery of their day-to-day routine. So, for their benefit, I announce my official return.

I just played whiffle ball outside - not in a game or anything, but just getting some pitches. I was pretty atrocious. A similar thing actually happened to me last year. Last night I did a bit too much celebrating for my birthday. My parents went to the beach on Saturday. They got subs from Westboro House of Pizza and brought them. Last week I learned some interesting and sad information about my coworker Steve. Apparently he's an alcoholic, which isn't too surprising, but last year he spent three months in the hospital because his liver was so messed up. Everyone thought he was going to die.
