so, my head chef has resigned. this is both joyous and annoying as i need to find a new chef ASAP 'cos i am going away for four days in two weeks time, and i don't want to be over worked for over a month like i was last time.
know of anyone?

situations vacant, work

I can do the odd shift on Wednesdays and Thursdays if you're stuck.

that might be perfect.
i interviewed a young man who may be interested (more money and hours than he has now) but he has to give two weeks notice where he is atm.
so, i am supposed to be going away from the 9th (weds) until the 12 (sat), but i can come back on the 11th (fri) so if i am really stuck, would you be able to cover the 9th and 10th?
does that make sense? i think i fried my brain with grill cleaner today lol

I'm fairly certain he is going to take it. He is also happy to work the shifts he can between now and when his two weeks is up.

i think it was that he will be able to have every second Saturday off that sold him on it lol. that and more hours and pay than he gets now, but i am pretty sure it was the Saturday thing lol
