Yeah, it has been pretty gloomy here in Gadsden. I went to a place called seven room rock, which is on Lookout Mountain. Me and my friend talked whilst watching the sunset. We also watched a storm move in. It is fun being high up in the rain. I agree Monte Sano is a beautiful place, wish I could live there. So sad about Bob and Kate. My role models. The whole world cries when a Hepburn dies.

I need to see ya maybe. Another tuesday at Papa Lovetti's if you want. No more school till fall, but comin up there to hang out will be just fine and dandy with me. Thanks, I read about Lee last year. You were really close to him. I understand now what that was like. Thanks, and keep Logan and her family in your prayers.

Reminds me of "my" place at DeSoto (ahh, those crazy Spainards). About midway downstream between the first set of falls and the second there's a rock that, with a bit of precocious and precarious hopping, one can reach, right out in the middle of the stream. You get the effect of the first falls roaring and kicking up spray behind you and being able to look over the second into the canyon... sadly, due to all the rain, said rock has been mostly underwater for awhile, but yeah... good times. :)

It's awesome, you get that whole "tranquil eye of the hurricane" effect... so many great places at de soto. I'm about 20 minutes away, given a reasonable driving pace.

I'm such an idiot.

I forgot all about your get together even though I got off work around 5ish. I was so out of it and stuff. Lack of sleepy does that.

eh it's okay. the trip ended up being rather cursed, so maybe you're better off not taking part :)
