So here I am. Nothing to do. TV broke in transit and I am using free WiFi at a local coffee bar. John P. is here keeping me company. Gracie is sad.
Coming back home for a little bit on Monday night/Tuesday for a doctor's appointment and to pick up a few random items left behind.

I am starting to get knots in my stomach about moving this weekend.
I know it's my dream, but I will be leaving behind my love and so many wonderful friendships that have blossomed over this summer. I know that I have to move on, but it's more difficult than I had ever imagined.

Took Gracie back to Dr. Berry yesterday to have him check out the mysterious swollen area on her side. He took X-rays and palpated it, but could not figure out what it was exactly. He advised that it wasn't anything to worry about--he said it wasn't in the right area of the abdomen to be related to CHF. Her EKG was normal, too. He sent her ( Read more... ) -

Got home from the wedding today. As soon as I walked in the door, my puppy got up to see me. She has a large swollen area distending from her right abdomen.

Bought a couch for the new apartment yesterday...$200 at Encore.
