My Last Birthday Ever!

As of December 22, I'm 29. I'm as old as I'm ever going to get! Not really, but it's funny to joke about. What girl really wants to turn 30? This year, my birthday was on a Tuesday, and so I decided to just do something fairly chill. I got all dolled up in my awesome new Christmas blouse and went to The Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier

I got a pink netbook too! Mine is Acer though. I already put a bunch of stickers on it.

Yay for pink netbooks! I almost got the acer one too, but I finally settled on the Toshiba. It's soooo pink!

Ah, beautiful pictures! I love your Christmas blouse especially- I think it's a really great design! Seeing your pictures is always really inspiring for me, which is great because I really need some good inspiration right now. (We're working on a new sewing studio for me, and I am in work LIMBO until it's done. It's draining all my creative powers!)

While I didn't get a netbook, my husband did give me a pink DSi for Christmas, which I totally love. ^_^ Yay for pink electronics!

Yay for pink electronics indeed! My new netbook matches my pink cellphone and pink DSlite! I kind of want the pink DSi, but it bugs me that it's magenta and my other stuff is more bubblegum/carnation. I'll probably crack sooner or later and just get it anyway since my DS is starting to give up the ghost, I think.

Yes! We'll be doing tons of work on it this weekend, so it shouldn't be too much longer before I can get going again. =D

I think the DSi is just too cool. XD It has an mp3 player function, a silly camera (more like a toy than a really useful one, but it's fun to play with,) and the ability to browse the internet, which is great for me since I don't have an mp3 player, laptop, or any other of the sundry small electronics that boast similar features.

Also, I know it's not the same as the original housing being light pink, but I've seen silicone cases on Amazon that are light pink. I'm planning to get one and cover it with a bunch of those silly Japanese candy/rose charms, pearls, and rhinestones so I don't have to glue directly to my DSi. I just love those silly, tacky cases for some reason. XD

Oh, nice outfit!
I haven't been to Lake Lanier since 2000, when I first visited my in-laws. I mostly remember driving really far, dodging deer and a huge crowd.
