it's funny cause i thought school was supposed to help with these questions, but apparently i will be no better off when i graduate, so i might as well start burning my books and dancing around them naked.

i am constantly debating my departure from tejas. i figure if i actually get this degree, for all practical purposes, i could teach in some urban vegas shithole down the street from weston and piss all of my hard-earned money away on prostitutes, gambling, and drugs.

also considering moving northeast or maybe california (they pay their teachers better)

i didn't realize the payrate was better in the northeast? i think it must depend on where obviously ... the best deal would be to teach at a private school ... all those rich folks pay a pretty penny.

prostitutes are pretty awesome though.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your former classmate. Is it someone I would have known? I hope you're doing okay, and have people close by to be there for you. And I love Rumi. :-)

Amy Dorsett was the girl who passed away. And thank you for your good wishes. It's just really weird and strange to deal with. I am lucky to have good people around but it's still hard.

How have you been?

Rumi is new in my life and I am thankful.

it does help a little. i think if/when i come out i will be flying and then buying a car there and hopefully road triping home at some point so i can get that awesomeness into my life. and you're right ... if it sucks i can always come back or go somewhere else - the tricky part is the added pressure of moving in with my boyfriend. as amazingly wonderful as weston is ... it's really a big step ... sort of crazy ... so if it doesn't work out that's a whole other can of worms ... but i'll never know unless i try right?

i didn't think of that little added pressure part. But, you'll be in the same apartment as Will and Melissa, so it's not like you guys are living alone, which I'm sure will make it less of a giant step.
Worse comes to Worst, just look at how fast I got an apartment, I went looking on a Monday, and was moving in on Tuesday.
But you are right, you'll never know unless you try.

Is it bad that in my head your last sentence read as: "Weston, he's so purrrddy"

i am a big fan of rumi. i have a book with many writings i'm slowly getting through ...

thanks for your sympathies ... it's ok you don't have a book this time. you know i bought that other book last time when my dog passed away ... i still have it. it makes me smile and think of you every time i see/read it.

as far as no wrong decisions - i suppose you are right. it's only a matter of making a decision that won't put me in a situation that could potentially traumatize me ... OR Weston. ha. i mean tampons all over the bathroom - that's never fun. ;o)

although i have to say the tampon as a candle was an interesting one :P
