A clanking sound was heard when Changmin swung the door of a coffee shop. Changmin looked around, there weren’t many people inside and Changmin sat at a wooded chair with a round wood table in the right side of coffee shop, near an unoccupied white grand piano. A few seconds after he sat down, a guy he considered as a waiter since he wore black trousers, white shirt, and black vest, came to his table, he smiled and bowed politely.

Changmin expected for a menu would be given to him, but instead the guy asked, “Shim Changmin, right?”
“Yes.” Changmin eyes followed the man who took a seat in front of him and eyed him confusedly.
“We met at prom night.”

The man had pale skin and a pair of brown eyes, his black hair was tied into a loose ponytail with fringe above his eyebrows covered half his forehead. The man smiled a bit as Changmin examined him because Changmin was sure he never met the man before.

“B-but, I don’t think so. I’ve… never-” Changmin tried to remember the night, but he didn’t remember he met the man in front of him. Changmin was really sure because he was sober that night, he didn’t drink alcohol.

Changmin spotted a girl in knee-length white dress talked to her friend, her right hand holding stick of his white mask while another one holding a glass of orange juice. Changmin was attracted to the girl right after he landed his eyes on her. How come he never met her before? Was it because he was too serious studying? Changmin was always being the top student; he was in acceleration class so he completed his high school only in 2 years while the normal time is 3 years.

When the girl’s friends leaving her alone, Changmin approached her. Realizing someone came to her, she looked at Changmin and their eyes met. Changmin could see the brown eyes the girl had, her lip-glossed lips parted a bit maybe because of a bit surprised by Changmin’s sudden appearance. When she was about to leave, Changmin quickly grabbed her wrist, being a basketball player made him had quick response over things, her skin was so smooth against his hand.

“Wait!”
The girl stopped but her back facing Changmin and she didn’t say anything.
“May I know your name?”
She didn’t answer; instead she tried to release her wrist from Changmin’s tight grip, but Changmin wouldn’t budge. The loud beat music was changed into a romantic jazzy one and the MCs said that it was the time for romantic dance. Changmin took a step closer, “then, just one dance, please?” Changmin released the girl’s wrist and offered his hand. His feeling mixed between nervous, excited, afraid but happy. Slowly the girl turned and placed her hand above Changmin’s. Changmin took a step again so they were only a few inches apart, they were confused where to place their hands but then they laughed at the awkwardness.

Changmin circled his arms around the girl making the latter jumped a bit, the girl hesitantly placed his left palm on Changmin’s chest while her other hand holding his stick mask. The prom’s theme was mask party so they wore masks. Changmin wore black suit with black open collared shirt, he looked so hot along with black mask. Changmin smiled knowing his princess was all white from head to toe.

The song hadn’t ended yet, but the girl was trying to escape again, Changmin held her tighter. “Hey, where will you go? The dance hasn’t ended yet.”
The girl said nothing, she just struggling from Changmin’s grip.
“Fine… fine. But, wait.”

Changmin took out a pen and a piece of paper from his pocket. His best friend, Yunho, taught him that if he wanted to get some girls from the party. Let them had your number and they would call you. He wrote something and gave the paper to the girl. “Here. It’s my number. My name is Changmin and I really hope you’ll call me.” Changmin smiled.

The girl returned Changmin’s smile then she walked away. Changmin wanted to stop her but he decided just to wait for her to call him, Changmin sure she would call him.

The next day, Changmin didn’t receive any call from the girl. So were the next and the next days. The girl was like disappearing. Changmin tried to search in their year book but he found none. Seeing his frustrated son, his parents took him to Japan for a week vacation. In Japan, Changmin met Yunho, his best friend in high school. Yunho brought him to Paris for another vacation and he forgot all about his dream girl.

Once he was back to his hometown, he remembered again about the mysterious girl. Fortunately, the girl texted him and asked him to meet her in the White Coffee Shop.

Changmin clearly remember he didn’t meet any other special people at prom. The only new person he met in the prom was his princess whom he would meet today.

Changmin’s eyes widened, his face showed pure horror. “Y-you… you-”
“I’m sorry, Changmin-sshi, I know I disappointed you, but I-”
“You are her boyfriend, right?” Changmin cut his words; he glared at the man he barely knew.
“What?” Yoochun didn’t comprehend what Changmin implied. “Changmin-sshi, I’m not-”
“But you look like her. Are you her over protective brother? You have some kind of… sister complex?” Changmin narrowed his eyes.
“No. I’m-”
“Right. You are her twin!” This time he pointed at the confused waiter.
“No, I only have one sibling, a younger brother. And I’m sorry to make you disappointed, but the girl you met in prom was me.” Yoochun stated as clear as possible so Changmin would understand what he tried to say.
“What?? No! No! I’m sure you are her twin, right! You look like her! You-” Changmin shook his head while his index finger still pointing at Yoochun. “Her hair is longer! She couldn’t be you!”
Yoochun sighed, “that was extension hair, and now I cut it again so it was much shorter than that night.”
Changmin looked at Yoochun, his finger wasn’t pointed at Yoochun anymore.
“Changmin-sshi.” Yoochun stood up and bowed. “I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to make you think that I was really a girl. You know, I’ve tried to get out of you but you forced me to dance with you.”
“But you could have tried to escape, or at least let me know that you are a guy!” Changmin half yelled half whined.
“So I had to hike up my dress so you could see my manhood?” Yoochun rolled his eyes.
“W-what?” Changmin shook his head again, this time more violent than before. He couldn’t imagine that his beautiful princess had penis like him. “No! No! No!”
“Wait! And why the hell did you dress as a girl?”
Yoochun sighed, “that’s not your business. Wait a minute.” Yoochun walked toward the kitchen, leaving Changmin who was confused and still not believing the truth. Changmin never thought that today would turn out like this. Today was supposed to be perfect, because he could see his beautiful princess again, without her mask. But what he got that the ‘girl’, someone who made him thinking that he was in love at first sight, unveiled much more than just mask.

Yoochun was coming back with a cup in his hand. He placed the cup on the table. “My treat. I don’t know what you like, so I guess you may like Espresso. It just suits you,” Yoochun shrugged. Changmin eyes followed every Yoochun’s movements but he didn’t say anything.
“Once again, I’m so sorry, Changmin-sshi. I know you may be disappointed or just angry at me. But I’m really sorry.” Yoochun bowed once again and left Changmin.

Realizing the other was leaving him, Changmin grabbed Yoochun’s wrist before he walked too far. It was like déjà vu. Changmin was surprised and stopped his track, his fingers didn’t leave Yoochun’s smooth wrist. Yoochun was looking at Changmin with questioning eyes. The smoothness he felt reminded him to his princess’ wrist, it was the fucking same, Changmin knew it. Slowly his eyes moved from his fingers that wrapped Yoochun’s wrist until they met Yoochun’s confused face. Changmin’s heart skipped a bit, shocked because he really saw Yoochun as his princess in his high school prom night.

Changmin’s grip didn’t really tight, so with a little force he freed his wrist from Changmi’s hand. Changmin could feel when the tip of his fingers brushed lightly against Yoochun’s smooth skin, and it sent electricity to all over Changmin’s body, to Changmin’s heart and making it beat faster. Changmin saw Yoochun’s back went farther until the pretty boy entered the kitchen. Changmin stepped backward until he dropped down to his wooded chair. He still couldn’t believe that he couldn’t see his princess again. Changmin took the neglected Espresso and walked toward the door. Once again he heard the clanking sound when he swung the door open.
