The next day, Changmin came again to White Coffee Shop, this time he came after the lunch time. He smirked when he found the pretty boy behind cashier table, serving the customer. When the latter’s lips turned into a beautiful smile, Changmin did not and would never admit that his heart skipped a beat when he saw the bright smile on that face. The cashier’s smile faded right after he landed his eyes in Changmin’s smirked expression.

“Hi! I forgot 2 things yesterday. One, you know my name but I haven’t asked yours, …” Changmin’s eyes read the name tag on the cashier’s left chest, “Yoochun-sshi.” Changmin smirked, was aware with the other’s reaction. “And two, I haven’t said that I don’t like Espresso despite how your brain works that you thought it suited me. Hot Caramel Macchiato please, with extra caramel, okay?” Changmin smiled mischievously. Yoochun sighed while turning around to make a cup of Caramel Macchiato for his customer.

“By the way, I never know you were in my high school, I never saw you.” Yoochun didn’t know if Changmin was mocking him or just saying a statement, but he decided to ignore it. “Did you know me?”

Yoochun didn’t answer it until he finished making the Caramel Macchiato, handed it to Changmin and Changmin handed him money. “Of course. Who didn’t know you? You were popular because you were smart and the first grandson of The Shims.” Yoochun then gave him the change hoping the conversation wouldn’t go further, only to face a grinning Shim Changmin.

“You know me that much?” Changmin seemed he was pleased with Yoochun’s answer but the latter just rolled his eyes.

“That was just basic information about you. Everybody knew it even though they didn’t need it because at least they would hear it from people gossiping around them. Is that enough? Please, I have other customers.”

Then Changmin left him with another smirk on his annoying face. If he didn’t have to greet the next customer, Yoochun would roll his eyes again.

Yoochun didn’t expect that the next day Shim Changmin would be standing in line to order his Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel again. He was cursing under his breath when he saw Changmin’s annoying face.

Instead of ordering, Changmin was asking, “where do you continue your study, Yoochun-sshi?”
“Do you have to know?” Yoochun asked back, his tone was lack of politeness, wasn’t like when he greeted the customers. “Why don’t you just order what you want and pay then go?”

“Umm… Yoochun-sshi, we’re high school friends, right? I just want to know-”

“I enrolled in Kyunghee University, majoring in Music, okay?” he cut Changmin in order that this ‘special’ customer would just shut his mouth up. “So, are you going to-”

“Do you have any idea where I’m going to… continue my study?” this time Changmin cut him. He perked an eyebrow.

Yoochun took a look to behind Changmin, there’s no one in line after Changmin so he couldn’t excuse serving the next customer. He sighed. “Do I have to know?” Yoochun rolled his eyes -it became his habit now since this ‘special’ customer always bugging him.

Changmin hummed, “yea… maybe that was one of the basic info about me.” He shrugged, but he emphasized the word ‘basic’.

Yoochun bit his lower lip and narrowed his eyes. “Listen Changmin-sshi, I’m working now and if you don’t want to order anything, you better go home now. And I don’t even care either you got full scholarship in SNU (Seoul National University) or you want to study ab-” Yoochun paused a second before he continue, ”road.” Realizing his mistake that he was just talking too much -by looking at Changmin’s astounded expression-, he shut his mouth.

“Yes! You don’t care!” Changmin grinned.

After taking a deep breath and exhaled it, Yoochun tried to put on a farewell smile on his face though he knew it was awkward. Deciding that Changmin wouldn’t order anything and since the new customer had already stood in line, Yoochun said “So, I have to work now.” Looking at the next customer behind Changmin, he smiled sweetly, “next customer, please.”

“Wait! I haven’t ordered mine! Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel, please!” Changmin smiled, but Yoochun could tell that was just a fake smile. When Yoochun turned around to make his order, Changmin’s smile turned into a smirk.

‘So, he does know me more than the other, huh? I didn’t think that the whole school knew about me getting the scholarship in SNU. They just know that I could enter SNU because of my father. This is more interesting.’

Like the day before, Changmin just received his macchiato and paid without say another word. But just before he got his foot out of the Coffee Shop, he looked back to Yoochun. “Yoochun-sshi!” he shouted the cashier’s name from the door. Some of the customers were looking at him and the cashier. “I’m taking SNU!” Then Changmin walked out leaving the clanking sound of the metal bell on the door and the stiffened cashier with blank expression.

With a cup of hot Caramel Macchiato in his hand, Changmin walked to the nearest park. Yesterday he found that park and wanted to go there, but he had no time yesterday. Changmin sat in the bench under the big tree. He took out a book from his postman bag, placed it in his lap and opened it with his free hand. He sipped his macchiato; it stopped him from his reading. He really liked this Caramel Macchiato and thought that it would be his new addiction. Changmin’s mind flew to his own thought two days ago.

Changmin was still sad when he went home after he knew that his princess was Yoochun, not even a girl. At that time he felt that he was being fooled by that pretty boy. Changmin couldn’t let this happen, he wanted revenge. He wanted Yoochun felt as disappointed as him. He thought that it was Yoochun’s fault. Yoochun must have never called him just to tell him that he was a guy.

That’s why Changmin planned to make Yoochun fell for him then dumped him. He didn’t care if Yoochun was gay or not, he wanted to make Yoochun to be gay because the latter almost make him gay too. But no, Shim Changmin wasn’t a gay, and would never be a gay.

Changmin hadn’t done this to anyone before, but he knew a bit how to be a bastard because his best friend was a real bastard. Yunho had said that Changmin had charisma and would easily make people fell for him. So, it wouldn’t be hard, would it?

Changmin’s mind was back when he felt gentle breeze on his face and he could heard the rustle of the leaves. It was the early autumn anyway. Shivering a bit, Changmin realized his macchiato wasn’t really warm anymore.
.::.

It had already been a week and Changmin never absent even a day. Changmin would always try to flirting and Yoochun always ignored him and showed his annoyance in front of Changmin. Changmin almost lost his confidence, maybe his charisma wouldn’t affect to a guy. College would start in a week and he wouldn’t have much free time to do his revenge.

Changmin came to White Coffee Shop again but he didn’t stand in line, instead he looked for an unoccupied table knowing that Yoochun wasn’t at the cashier but he worked as waiter.

“Why did you keep coming?” Yoochun asked when he took Changmin’s order.

“Why? Because you are here, of course.” Changmin winked. Yoochun looked away and sighed.
“It’s because I like the Caramel Macchiato too.” Changmin added.

When Yoochun came back with a mug of Caramel Macchiato, Yoochun took a seat in front of Changmin. Changmin was surprised but he was glad, maybe his plan worked.

“Listen Changmin-sshi, I don’t know what your intention is, but please don’t do this anymore. I’m… I’m uncomfortable with your behavior.” Yoochun kept his head down when he talked to Changmin. “I… I don’t mind if you want us to be friends, but please don’t do more than what friends will do.”

“What if I want us to be more than friend?” Changmin didn’t believe himself that he would ask a guy this kind of question, but he remimded himself again that it’s for his plan, maybe it would work this way.

Yoochun looked up, he did look shocked. “Do… do you want to say that you’re a …gay? I mean, you like me?” Yoochun blinked his eyes twice, he seemed didn’t believe it.

“W-what??” Now it’s Changmin’s turn to be shocked, the plan wasn’t making Yoochun thought that he was a gay. “No!!” Changmin quickly shut his mouth. If he wanted to make Yoochun fell for him by flirting to Yoochun, Yoochun would definitely thought that he was a gay, right? So, what to do now?

“Err… Changmin-sshi, it’s okay, it’s normal.” Yoochun smiled. “And that doesn’t mean that you’re really a gay too. You liked me when I dressed as a girl and you thought that I was a girl that time. So I understand. But look, I’m a man, Changmin-sshi.”

Changmin was really confused now. So, all this time he tried to make Yoochun fell for him and he gave Yoochun hope, Yoochun thought that Changmin did that for the girl he met in prom night?

“No, it’s not like that. I know you are a man. I-” Changmin couldn’t continue what he would say. Yoochun would think that he really was a gay.

Yoochun smiled sweetly, “ah, I see. Don’t worry, I’m a gay too, Changmin-sshi.”
Changmin’s eyes widened.

Yoochun sighed, “I don’t know, I don’t want to say that I’m a gay. But I like a man, it’s not like I always like men, but only this man.” Yoochun smiled while imagining someone he loved. His eyes back to Changmin who was still shocked. “I’m sorry, but… I hope you can forget me. I’ve already had someone I love.”

Yoochun came home and headed to his bedroom, didn’t even bother to greet his best friend who shared apartment with him like usually. Yoochun threw his body to his bed.

Jaejoong who was watching television, was confused with his usually cheerful best friend. He entered Yoochun’s unlocked bedroom and saw the latter was lying on his stomach. Jaejoong jumped on his back and earned a loud groan from Yoochun.

“Yaa!” Yoochun yelled and Jaejoong just laughed.

“What happened to you?” Jaejoong moved to Yoochun’s side and rolled Yoochun’s body. He could see trail of tears on Yoochun’s cheeks. “Hey! Why are you crying?” Jaejoong cupped Yoochun’s cheeks.

“He came again, Jae.” Yoochun looked down.

“Shouldn’t you be happy? He was flirting to you again, right?”

Yoochun shrugged, “I don’t know. He said he wanted to be more than friend, but I can’t.” He got out of the bed and headed to bathroom.

“Why? You’ve been loving him for these 2 years!”

“I don’t care!”
Jaejoong could hear the slam of the bathroom door; it meant that it was end of discussion about this. He knew Yoochun didn’t want to talk about it for a while.
