Why the hell am I still sore? WHY! On Friday (day off, whee!) Olly and I got up...no no scratch that, I got up at 6:30 in preparation to get the ferry to Rangitoto. Events of yesterweek
Finally managed to get a nap tonight- although Oliver let me sleep an extra hour longer than I had planned. Still I feel a lot better and that nagging mental exhaustion has subsided. More life things
Last week went to North Head in Devonport with Patrick (Oliver's cousin) and Oliver, even though the week before it had turned to a freezing cold autumn the day was boiling hot and we had to make a stopoff at the supermarket to get sunblock. The smell of death
My once beautiful, perfect, healthy stick insect, Sticky-T is now sick and dying. She entered a bad molt sometime yesterday night and when I found her she was weakened and deformed. I've tried everything I can but she's just not fighting for it. I'm trying to brace myself to say goodbye to her but she's so beautiful and it just hurts. I feel like I ( Read more... ) -
Yay for expenses
So I wake up about 3:50 last night all of a sudden. Felt wide awake and something was bothering me. Then I heard it - the sound of running water. Usually rain wakes me up but it was different, it sounded like somebody had left a tap on. Great, I'm getting sick. The worst thing about being sick is working and trying to do your best but knowing that you're not really doing your best because you just want to go home and sleep. -

I don't know how people manage to work full time for 40-50 years. I'm already starting to go loopy and it's only been 7 months. How am I going to handle this for the majority of my life? -
Laziness
