Yes kids, its a microplane. Also known as a fancy grater or zester. One of my top 3 must have kitchen utensils. They are usually used for zesting citrus but I also like to use it on parmigiano or harder cheeses.

I have a lung infection and I can't smoke.  It is torturous.  And I know that sounds horrible but it really is.  Not only for the fact that I can't smoke but a lung infection is not enough to make me want to quit smoking.  By far the worst decision I have ever made in my life.   If I could give any 16 year old a piece of advice it would be don't ( Read more... )

Snow day!
