I'm proud of this one - it took a long time to write and edit, and at 17 pages, it's three times as long as my typical House/Wilson fics. It's my version of the House/Wilson backstory, based on my fanwank that the two have been romantically and sexually involved, off and on, since they first met. Hi - I loved this fic - it's my first young!House fic and I wasn't disappointed at all. I think you did a great job in showing two people who could have perfectly evolved into the House and Wilson we come to know later on. Many of the things that make them 'them' are already there but so is the vulnerability and ingenuity of youth. (And the smex is great - you really build up great chemistry between them!)

Oh, thanks! There's a few other good young!House fics out there - hwshipper's Don't Ever Change, and there's another good one about House and Wilson at the same college, but I forget where it is ... read it ages ago. I am glad you think their characters ring true to our current House and Wilson! Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you so much for writing this. It's so IC, I was able to easily visualize every gorgeous scene. (For Wilson, I just went back to DPS. For House, I had to work a bit harder, but it was worth the effort.) I love the energy of the smut, and the way both of them felt about each other.

You chose well, making it from Wilson's POV. I think when it comes to these two characters, most people find it easier to identify with Wilson.

No time to do fave lines: I'm off to the gym. But I am SO glad I paused long enough to read this. You just made my day!

Oh, that's quite a compliment, that they're in character. Thank you! It is hard to imagine young!House but he must have been quite a good-looking teenager, don't you think? The 'energy' of the smut - I don't think I've ever seen it quite described in that way! But I did write them to have lots of sexual energy as would be expected of youth

Oh, me too! It's fun to imagine House and Wilson in college. I especially liked writing the visit to Wilson's parents. I have such fond memories of visiting my mom during the school holidays. Glad you liked it, thanks for reading and commenting.

I think this is one of those fandom'rare occurance' fic`s where everything,but especially the voices are so spot on [and in my current flu fuddled brain this is going to be especially devasting] you can actually wobble off to bed wondering if you 'just read that or watched it on tv?'So fabulous.So X-rated. Aw, thanks, I'm pleased to read your compliment. It does seem very real to me, too, more so than most of the stories I've written. Perhaps because I was envisioning all of the action happening at the university I attended - it was fun to imagine House and Wilson making out in my dorm room!

If only it was on film, wouldn't that be awesome! I guess we'll have to settle for our imaginations, because I don't think HL and RSL will be doing X-rated movies anytime soon!

I can definately relate to House in college; I was (and still am) definately more like House than Wilson.
