here i am back to a blinking cursor

i almost dont even know where to start

trying to manage the time and space
to grasp at the words and metaphors
spinning through my mind like a twister
attempting to actually have a legible and tangible
piece of poetry to read,
perhaps im asking too much of myself

perhaps i just need to go back to word vomit

i know i promised to write
a lot more
and
a lot sooner

but i took a time out
to reevaluate
and
to reevolve

ive dug myself out of my slump
and
ive fully rededicated myself
to myself
and
to my family

ive gotten over my fear of knives

ive taken over for cooking for my whole family
and its gone well

i know i havent been here in a minute

i wasnt lying when i said i need to cut my nails
i grew them insanely long for my hs reunion
and now its like almost impossible to type

plus ive been pmsing and pretty much feeling like everything is impossible

but things have been ok

i mean there are highs and low
but if you average my days out lately

about to start my work day
he actually called it that
and
its kinda already made my day

i have hives everywhere
its either has to do with my sheets needing to  be washed
or the fact that i havent really drank water all weekend

gonna attempt to resolve both today
and then hopefully these itchy spots on my skin will disappear

shes beginning to fidget
which i fear means shes waking up soon

im glad that i chose this gift this year

its almost better than therapy

perhaps tomorrow morning
when the room is silent
except for her faint snores coming from the corner of the bed

currently more than just her faint snores are coming from the bed

i finally got my own way to write again

no having to borrow anyones laptop
no having to use the computer in the middle of my home for all eyes to see
no lugging a huge cord around the house
