So it’s been over a week since I lost my Dad. Part of me still doesn’t want to believe it, and I think that feeling is going to be hard to shake. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 aggressive breast cancer in January of 2005. As one can expect, there have been so many ups and downs as far as her health is concerned. I essentially have another week off. I've GOT to do something productive. I've had this overwhelming urge to make something. I don't know what I want to do exactly because I want to do everything. I need a new job. NEED. I am only working 2 effing days this week. WTF is that supposed to be? At first I was excited because it's time off to do whatever I want. But it finally sunk in that I'm only getting PAID for 2 days this week. This is ridiculous. I know it's going to pick up as the holidays approach, but it's the other extreme. Stuck in a rut
I'm in the worst mood today. I'm not sure if there is an exact reason why I'm feeling this way, or if I just "woke up on the wrong side of bed". I feel bad because Aaron is always so upbeat and enthusiastically talking about school and all that. I'm very proud of him and very happy for him, but it gets old when I'm in this mood. Rest in Peace, Grandma
Grandma passed away tonight... 2/14/2011 on 9:05pm. 9-5 was their anniversary, and it was the most romantic thing Grandpa ever did. We could feel his presence in the room, or at least I could.
