Last Friday, I got my first speeding ticket.  Yep, what a wonderful way to cap off a really long week of work.  The worst part is this:  AFTER the officier gave me the ticket, I mentioned in passing that I was a teacher.  He had this look on his face and demanded to know why I didn't mention it before.   ( Read more... )

Ok, so its Saturday night and I'm feeling sorry for myself.  I had a full weekend of plans but guess what?  I'M SICK!!!!  Gosh, there is a student who is always sick so when she gets sick, she is still sent to school, thus spreading her germs everywhere, leaving them for me to pick up!  (Warning, that was just a run-on sentence, bad me!)

I seriously have the greatest husband in the whole world.  Sometimes, I would wake up and ask myself, "what did I do to deserve Sam?"  Normally, Sam does everything he can to make me happy.  He does the littlest things to make my day so what he did last week truly tops anything he has ever done in the past (other than the proposal)!!
