On the opening your own business thing, you could definitely rock that pretty well, especially BEING in advertising and having your dad as an accountant. Owning your own business is a huge part of massage, so I've had a lot of classes on how you can write off TONS of stuff on taxes, so he could undoubtedly help you out hardcore at a discount. Anyway, good luck and if you wanna go to a non-NY place... hey baby, drop me a line.

thanks for the encouragement, the biggest hurdle is going to be convincing myself and others that i can actually do this. i know my strengths and my weaknesses, and i seem to have enough support to work through it. either way, most of my preliminary thoughts on this, i talked over with bri. we seemed to land on the boston area as a good, college-saturated area to start up a bar. there's alot to work out in the meantime, but if bri gets into a grad program in the boston area, i'll begin looking into the job market there. if you're still interested, i think a place with the 3 of us would be the shit. anyway, catch you later man and lemme know if you have any ideas/input. i feel like this may be the beginnings of something big, or at least the beginnings of a pong domination that no masshole has ever seen before.

Oh you.

Stop making kids who ain't finished yet depressed about post-college options. Nevermind the fact that the ones I have scream "GRAD SCHOOL".

But yeah, no matter what decision you end up making about what you're going to do, if it makes you happy, that's what matters most. I think considering that it didn't take much for you to pull all this NYC stuff together, it wouldn't be much of a stretch for you to do something completely different, either. Why settle on doing just one thing for the rest of your life anyway? You're a good kid, and a smart one, too. Things will figure their way out.

Also, isn't there something you can do with cranberry juice or something for super detox action? I forget what.

Totally know what you mean by the growing up in suburbia don't want to leave it idea. Even though I went more rural, the thought of living in NYC would still scare the shit out of me. I WILL have a backyard!

problem solved.

We have some grass ... some places. And it rained here yesterday, (for the first time since I got back from xmas) so its not too dry .... well ok, its just as bad as NY in that respect, but you DO get to drive. AND you're guaranteed to sit in traffic in your car for at least 10 min at the end of your day.

Good luck with the detox, and I'm sure I'll talk to you soon, when we both get bored at work.
