[Bobby's outside, holding the journal facing towards him with one hand and tossing a snowball with the other.]
I promise this is not my fault! I had absolutely nothing to do with this.
[Not that anyone except for maybe two people would have any reason to suspect him. But he's too used to having to give a disclaimer every time snow comes when it

I'll come skate with you. [She's already on her way out.]

Raven! Yes! Come skate with me!
[He grins back, completely thrilled.]
And no, I don't. But that doesn't stop people from blaming me, anyway.
[Pause.]
Okay, maybe it happened a few times.

Yeah? What, are you a master of snow and ice or something? [She comes up next to him, still grinning, but - wait a second.]
...Wait, seriously?
Reply
Not really a master.
[And then he hesitates, because that 'seriously' might not be good.]
Um. Kind of?
Reply
...now that you've said that, I'm all the more likely to blame you.
[Okay, so he's more amused now than anything else. But it's cold! So he's blaming you!
Because he can.]
Reply
[He's grinning cheerfully.]
Of course, they usually do it, anyway.

So why would you be responsible for this all, anyways? Are you an ice mage?
Reply
Kind of? I'm a mutant. But I can create ice and stuff, so it might be similar.

He sighs and shakes his head, pulling into the coat he grabbed out of the clothier's tower tighter around him.*
Stupid keep.
*He grunts, then snaps his head up. Was there someone on the lake? What the hell?*
Reply
Hey! Looking to go ice skating, too?
Reply
*It sure seemed rather pointless.*
Why?

[There's a pause.]
Because it's fun?

She is gurgling happily, unused to playing in snow with the rarity it actually fell within the Peligirs.
Bobby will more than likely run into the gryphon while she is in the process of pouncing various snow-drifts in a clamber of talons.]
Reply
It's a gryphon. A gryphon pouncing snow drifts.
This is the coolest thing ever.
He still stops a little bit away from the pouncing gryphon, though, just in case this is the kind of gryphon that doesn't like people.]

She lifts her head and pivots slightly, eying Bobby with big inquisitive eyes as he does the same. Bowser to answer, she must firs eat or release her prey. Bobby you have saved a mouses' life this day. She drops the mouse to the snow and it flees with a terrified squeak, but her ears are already up and her attention on the human. She gives her head a bob,'shaking snow off her feathers and fur.]
Heyla!
[Pay no kind to the wad of snow on her head, please. :D]

The gryphon's looking at him, though, so he offers a tentatively friendly smile.
And is rewarded with speech! It's a talking gryphon! Best day ever.]
Hi! Are you enjoying the snow, too?

I haven't been skating in years, but I'm totally up for it if this place has anything resembling skates!
Or capture the flag .. hell, anything to keep me out here until I can't feel my body.
[The desert dweller can't even begin to explain how excited he is for snow.]
Reply
Capture the flag would be wicked if we can get enough interest in it!
I'm all for skating, though! I don't know if this place has any skates, but I can make us some.
