ok mines is by a local christian band
ashes - centurion
it makes me thnk about my life and how God has given his up for me. its just a good reality reminder for me. its a gritty song that stirs up bloody images of Him on the cross so it gets to me every time....the first verse is told from the perspective of the centurion (gaurd) that was near Jesus when he was crucified....
"i watched Him as his (something, i dunno) was torn. i watched them tie him to a pole. i handed them the crown of thorns, so they dug it into his skull. truly this was the Son of GOd and i just watched him die. when i start to think about it, i start to cry....what have i done to deserve your son?"

john cougar mellincamp"jack and diane" this song i love this song it brightens my day, it tells a story of a couple who have their lives planned out but something happens along the way and theyr forced to just take the hits as they come..the message in itis ...life goes on even after the threat of living is gone...life goes on..i love it it gives me some perspective i guess like nomatter what happens lifes going on there will come better stuff dont be afraid for yourself itll be ok......

I know this is a lil delayed...but now that I've gone through that entire piece...I must say my favorite movement is the second...but I can't say that I really have a song like that...it all depends on my mood so the song varies...but yeah...i'll stop buggin ya now
