You know, I've never given any thought to the Pledge of Allegance*sp. Has anyone else? Heres the only thing I describe it as; we all stand up, RECITING memorized lines, speaking a uniform tone...come to think of it, its like we're a bunch of clones. OK first off..The red scare was after WWII when communsium was a giant threat to our country. And if you are a TRUE AMERICAN It shouldnt matter if it is something we just recite day after day. The pledge is something to show our unity as ONE. You should be more then proud to live in this country. Oh and you think our government is currupt? Then why dont you go live in Iraq or somewhere else. I dont think there is any one place in this world where you can go and not have a currupt government

Cassie, I'm goig to have to agree with frank on a corupt government, I belive that we have a more corrupt government than Iraq. Think about it. If our country is spending so much on military that if they just eliminate one percent of what they spend on military and give it to feeding the homeless they can almost wipe out world hunger completely, then something is obviously wrong with our government. and frankly, I'd rather live in Iraq, then have a crazy redneck president with his finger on the button that can destroy the world in a single push. I'm not trying to be mean, and I'm not bringing your family into it(so i don't want you all pissed on monday), but i just don't agree with your politics. never have and never will.
