[SHIELD] Project: Open Eyes - 2

Oct 05, 2012 22:24

Well, so far Duncan has received a message from Nick Fury asking if he would like to work for SHIELD. Consent to be indicated by putting a picture of a 3-eyed robot in his bedroom window to be seen by SHIELD Agents. This was duly done with some enthusiasm, I have been told.

Tomorrow Duncan receives his Mission Briefing Pack, including ID card.

You "have been told"? You mean to say you didn't have someone staking out the house with binoculars? You realise that enough people think this is awesome enough that they would have absolutely volunteered to do that, right?

What you have so far is looking great. I'd maybe suggest one less emphasis that "when we're not playing the game be a normal kid, okay?", but while I reckon Duncan is pretty clued up (strange that my friends seem to have awesome kids. What's that about?) I also admit that i) I don't have a child of my own and ii) I'm not going to be running the game...

I'm happy to write you a page or so of content, but I need more context/direction. I shall await further direction from Agent Bridgford or Sprucemoose.

Incidentally, while I'm completely free to do text/skype/phone on Saturday, I'll be working at the (recently featured as U.N.I.T. HQ in Doctor Who) Tower of London on Sunday and can give you the switchboard number and an extension on which I can be reached between 9:30 and 10:30.

Looking good. Illya Kuryakin would be proud! One idea might be some observation type game - show our agent a person, a car or whatever and a little while later ask him to describe them. Similarly there's Kim's Game (the one where you produce a tray of objects, cover them up, and try and remember what was there) - which has the advantage of being a spy training technique from literature!

Alan and I (have you met Alan?) are both free on Saturday for secret-agent-ness - he's around all day, I'm at work until 4 but am available after that. We live very close to the Space Centre so could go there, or meet at some other location. You can come to our house if you like, although we're moving that weekend (aaargh) so all the boxes in the world will be all over the place.
We can do costumes as necessary - I have scrubs and a white coat to hand, for obvious reasons, but with a little notice we can achieve other things! xx
