Trip 6

Feb 28, 2009 18:55

There's been some talk--just a wee bit of talk--on here about, uhm...

People disappearing.

Now...that normal? Normal like the Sushi Bears and Psycho-killers normal?

Anyone know where they go?

Also, uhm, what's with the dead people posting again after they've gone and died?

i has questions, enter robin hood, i'm kinda confused, death is an inconvenience, no really i do think sometimes, disappearing

Death isn't permanent here.

And yes, people do leave. ...Frequently. I don't know where they go more than anyone else does.

Oh. But if it's not permanent, why was everyone so freaking scared of the killer? I mean, they couldn't get their rocks off if we just ignored them, right?

'Oh no, I'm dying. Too bad I'll be back in an hour or something. Way to waste your time.'

I dunno. Sounds stupid to me.

But, the people leaving...has anyone asked before? Or is this one of those crew secret things?

Regardless of whether death is permanent or not, it's still really painful and...it's still death. The prospect of revival doesn't make it any less terrifying when it's actually happening.

People probably have asked, yeah, but it probably is one of those 'crew secret things'.

Oh man, I know. This place redefines the words 'crazy as hell'.

Then again, when this all starts being normal, I'm gonna get bored outta my mind.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain why death is so horrible when you're likely to just wake up in your stateroom the next morning, myself.

Well, if it hurts like a bitch, I can understand not wantin' it. Apparently the thing killing everyone last week made it hurt like a bitch. So.

Then it's pain they're worried about, not death. The sufferers were put out of their misery and woke up 24 hours later. I fail to see how that's more than an inconvenience.

I agree with you, lady, but pain sucks. Not a lot of shame in not liking it.

People disappear much too frequently.

[Its been a long time since she's worried about people vanishing]

..Death is not permanent on this ship.

So there's no telling if we'll even get to that Shore place? That's a gip. What's the point of us being here if we might just up and vanish any day anyways?

missmimmi March 1 2009, 01:53:32 UTC
I have begun to wonder that myself.

..Maybe there is no actual 'Shore'.

Maybe we're just here for a while, then we 'disappear' and get to go back home.
