Recently there has been an issue with yahoo mail accounts being hi jacked and used to send out emails to everyone in the recipient's address book. I've had it happen to 3 people I know and yesterday someone tried it on me. In every case the email contains no text, just a url. Where time go?
This Saturday will mark the three month anniversary of the demise of my TeeVee. I don't know how much more reading and walking and so on I can do. As Dirty Harry observed, "A man's gotta know his limitations." Three months and I still haven't managed to get it to a recycle drop. -

Forced off the grid
Last night my TeeVee started making odd, racous sounds as the screen went kookoo krazee and then dark. I unplugged it overnight in hopes that maybe a circuit would self-reset, as they sometimes do, but to no avail. I'm at the library looking out the window. A van pulls into a handicap space and a man gets out. He opens the side door and removes a wheel-chair as a woman wrestles a small girl out. Sherlock Holmes
I liked it. I wanted to see "The Blind Side" but the times didn't work, so saw "Sherlock Holmes" instead. I'd already decided that Robert Downey, jr would never equal Jeremy Brett so I wasn't expecting Jun-yah to be Holmes. So once I suspended that aspect of my disbelief I was free to enjoy it. So I did.
And I liked it. I liked it fine.
