the new pope is old. i don't know much about him at all, so it worries me. -just an uneasy feeling of someone new...

me and margy used to rock out to "sellout" all the time.

that movie plot does sound familiar but who knows?

Yeah I remember that letter. Believe it or not I re-read it once in a while. It's a lot to address, but I'll definately get to it. Sorry it's been friggin forever.

and that quote is from one of the guys in the fraternity I'm pledging. He makes a lot of sense.

I know I know, It's pretty lousy of me...

I'm workng towards that book. I have two more to read before I get to it... and I really do work through a readng list, I just finshed one yesterday so I'm getting there.

I've heard some speculation that the early death thing was a factor actually considered... but as soon as I heard that I thought "how can they possibly know that? They weren't there!" So speculation is dangerous... but yeah, he's old.

Oddly enough I found a little book I bought a while back and there's an afterward in it by Ratzinger (when he was still a Cardinal, obviously). I wrote "Benedict XVI" next to the name.
