Tools for taking over people's minds via the internet:

PDF995: haven't tried it myself, but it looks less Star Trek than fPDF. If you understand PHP and codemonkey things, you might want to look at fPDF too. Will you be continuing to use this LJ as a dumping ground of any sort? I realize that if one expends the least effort, one can have most of the pay-to-read public words that you emit delivered to them - possibly through some sort of bog-roll printer if the fan is hackerly enough. However, I would like to see this LJ get some continued use. LJ is, even at it most basic, the perfect ALERT/all points bulletin on the mind-gangster network. Using as an annoucement source seems a crime, but also the appropriate way to retire it.

Also, if you could, leave us a little news? What of the story that started it all? Has anything been done with it? I must know what happens when you read/drink/smoke the true constitution of the United States.

delurking to let you know of another application for making PDFs that is incredibly easy: PDFCreator. it can be had at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ . i don't have any previous experience with making PDFs, and it doesn't require any. it sets up as a printer and gives some very basic options, then handles the rest automaniacally. it seems to work from any application that can print to a regular printer, it's open source, but it's for windows only.

i too am going to miss the RSS feed of new fiction. hopefully updates and other nonfiction things will still happen here?
