Ryan and I had our official ultrasound today. Apparently we are having a girl, not a boy. It's weird because what the tech showed us looked almost exactly like the pictures that we saw with Mason. At this point I'm confident that we are having a healthy baby, but that's about it. I guess we will see when the little bundle gets here. I think we are ( Read more... )

Although it may sound corny and obvious, but look in baby books. Sometimes you come across something that you like ok, but more than that you like what it means and thus you fall in love with the name that is why I liked Charee (I don't remember anymore how you spell it) but it meant "much loved" I still believe it fits Dani, and Elizabeth has little to know meaning for me. Yes, Betty is normally derived from it, but not in our case, so therefore it was just a far
stretch to get me to let him pick both names!
There is always Fiona (which means pale) Zaria (which means princess or blooming flower).

Wow, you have a mystery child! But healthy is what's important. I think it was Amy who told me once that she wanted her kid(s) to have one normal-sounding name and one unusual name. I kind of liked that idea.

I really like that idea as well. Now it's just the hard part of coming up with something unique that isn't totally bizarre.
