Thank you so much to everyone to helped with the royalty this weekend at 40 Year/Coronation. I ended up having waay more volunteers than slots, so I apologize if you wanted to volunteer and didn't get the opportunity. I know that Illiton is still looking for royalty volunteers for Crown if you're still itching to help ( Read more... )

It was a pleasure to help out.
My only regret is that I barely had time to give you a tiny passing squeeze. I wanted to spend so much more time with you and your Special Guy!

I am actually sorry that we didn't get down to help more various royalties unload before we could get out our own Baronial displays. You know, the first Pennsic War arrow, the first rattan sword used in the SCA, etc. We kind of had to make sure those artifacts were secure.

But I was there, baby! I carried and ludged and pushed as much as any half-assed anybody. My Kingdom, someone else's kingdom, whatever.

Her Majesty Ealdomere did smack us almost as much as we smacked her! But I swear we helped unload at least three Kingdoms worth of stuff, and the MK Minister of Regalia physically repelled me when I tried to help her unload even more stuff. :)
