Today's stupid "big" project of the day: Replacing the ceiling bulbs that have blown in the last, has to be more than a year, around my apartment. Three of them. The latest went a couple of weeks ago. This shouldn't have been a big deal, but with my neck/shoulder injuries, it became one. And I learned a very important lesson from this. No word on any of the jobs I applied to that I actually want... got rejection emails from ones I applied to I had no interest in. Meh.
The big news is I went to the doctor today and my blood pressure has come down significantly. So I'm now feeling completely justified in announcing to anyone and everyone, my boss gave me hypertension, I don't know ( Read more... ) -
Retail During the Holidays and New Life Developments
So... Been a while. A lot has happened.
I was hired permanently at Yale just before Thanksgiving. That meant a required health screening. After arguing with my boss about whether or not I needed one and then spending the day getting yelled at before heading to the health plan. I got a tetanus shot and a pertussis shot. I fall down stairs a lot.
Like, a lot a lot.
3 weeks ago I did it again and blamed it on the half a bottle of wine.
I received a sprained (twisted? pulled ligaments of?) ankle and broken toe. The toe still hurts.
