I can't believe I'm actually happy today....like really happy and stuff!

Well, things are looking good. I'm letting myself get excited now. I checked the Kaiser site today for job in CA. There are about ten jobs posted doing the same thing I'm doing now in San Diego. I'll be making a little over 2 dollars more per hour than I am now which I'm sure I'll need with the higher (much higher it seems) cost of living there. ( Read more... )

1. Whats WIC?
2. Eh, people think Cali is expensive to live in, its not since the pay is higher too. So its all relative, but if you live in a big city like SD...
3. Theres a lot of stuff in SD you'd like, a LOT.

1. WIC stands for Women Infants & Children. It's a gov't funded program that provides formula, cereal, juice, milk etc. for "low income" families. They give you vouchers which you can then trade for these items. I got it for the formula. They give me 9 cans a month which totals over $150 so it's a HUGE help.

2. I figured as much. It's just that most of the apartments I've looked at are running 900+ and that's like the bare minimum space-wise. I'll figure something out though. I'm not too worried.

3. I believe it. It looks pretty cool. I've never been. I'd be living like down town too and I've always wanted to live in the city so that will be really nice.

XOXO

1. Well if its a federal program, probaly is in Cali too. Just do a little research. Usually if they don't have that exact program in one place, they have something like it in another.

2. Well maybe you can live outside of SD. Most people try to live dab smack in the middle, plus you can look into renting a cheap house or something.

3. Well I know it would be cool, but I live living in a small town and GOING to a city. I like to live where its quiet and go where its loud.

Yeah, I'll have to ask around. Maybe I'll look it up online or something.

Oh and I just spoke with Jodi at the school and come to find out, they don't have Interior Design at the SD campus. It's only at the LA campus, so that's where I'll have to go. This also means no Kaiser job too though as they don't have an office in LA. At least I don't think they do. I'm sure I can find some kind of job there though. I hope. Is LA closer to you than SD?
