The years travel by disgustingly fast these days. Already it's time for the September year end accounts to kick off and I really should be getting my work head on. Not messing around with facebook and LJ. Oh shoot.

In my job, we have to have so many 'CPD points' (Continued professional development) every year, to ensure we're up to date with 'knowledge'. It's mostly all the Sarbannes-Oxley and International Standards stuff that these young whipper-snappers are messing with. Mum's visiting at the moment, since step-daddy is at cadet camp with the boy soldiers. My mum is very easy company and handled a Sunday evening visit from Ian Henderson and T particularly well, even calling them a "lovely set of lads" after they'd gone.
