This collection of conversions from TS3 'Fast Lane' and various TS3 expansions is dedicated to Sandy Bruty, Pleasantville's famous fashion icon and beloved legacy-leader.
Yaaay, again some great stuff from you. I especially adore those flamed thingies and the sectional sofa pieces. I mean there is nothing wrong with the sectional booth from TS2 but those round, soft shapes would fit more into a 50s diner or a restaurant. The sectional booth from TS3 has a more tough and mean look, perfect for biker hang outs, pubs and locations like that.
It's good that you mention the TS2 dining booths, because I wanted to try out if the meshes of the 'Dive Seating' can also be made into booth chairs, as opposed to the sofas they are now. Gah, I really should start to make a list of stuff I want to do, because without lists I forget everything. Like when I go shopping in the grocery store without a shopping list: I'll end up buying a bunch of appetizing things, and totally forget the food I actually came for. :D
Yay, the dive bar sectional seats! There can never be enough dive bars, and you just continue to make more and more lovely stuff for them. Very excited to use the sports trunk, and what a great idea to make bottle shelves!
It's so great to see Sandy getting a little attention. That face template honestly isn't that bad on females, Brandon Lillard is probably the only premade sim ugly enough to make your eyes water.
One should think that me working in a pub should keep me from incorporating bar-related things into my fantasy world, yet I can't help it; I'm inspired by the atmosphere and all. I'm also obsessed with alcohol bottles, though being a teetotaller. :)
I like Sandy for the sole reason of being the only townie that was nice to my Sim when I started playing TS2, while all of the other townies were meanies that apparently motiveless started poking and shoving her. You'll never forget something like that.:D Meanwhile, I'm not playing with the default face templates anymore, but not because I find the faces too ugly or something but because seeing the same faces over and over again gets pretty boring after a while. There's only so much distant cousins you can pretend one Sim can have. :)
Oh absolutely, but to be honest if I'm going to make future generations with the townies I prefer them to be a bit less... drastic. Some faces I don't mind so much but Brandon... *shudder*.
I always thought it would be great to have a set of default face templates modeled after the premade playable sims. That way they'd look interesting and maxis-y for people who prefer to play with their own sims.
All this talk is making me want to load up pleasantview though.
Hehe, guess who will be featuring my next upload? ..... Yes, hunky Brandon Lillard. I will get you to like him, I will, I will. :D *
I think it's a pity that there are only 27 face templates. If there were more of them, say 100 or 150, the game would be much more varied in regard to facial features, and we probably wouldn't need default replacements at all. I guess Maxis didn't count on Simmers playing the game for ages, and doing challenges like Legacies, BACCs and so on. Aren't we a weird bunch?
