i am sick of feeling unintelligent for my lack of vocabulary and for how inarticulate i am.

i am sick of not understanding things when people talk to me.

i feel so obsolete. and within my field of study it is unlikely that i will progress much further.

it feels like everyone around me iz so smart and i r so dumb.

Holy crap, I feel like that every day of my life.

I constantly feel like everyone around me knows way more than I do. I also feel limited by my vocabulary and am unable to voice any opinions because I can't really articulate what I'm thinking.

I'm very very scared of sounding/looking stupid. I constantly doubt and second guess myself.

I've never ever thought you sounded unintelligent. Like, in person or online. And you're crazy talented so don't even start!

So that's just one outsider's opinion. xo

I am giggling so hard for the 'iz so smart and I r so dumb.' I agree with lau though, those fuckers are just faking it so that they sound intelligent. They know the key to people assuming they're smart is using outdated phrases like 'Now you're on the trolly' or throwing in "per se" every chance they get.

One of the things that really bothers me though is when people start having conversations about conversations had in movies. They start really analyzing Kevin Smith and every damn thing they say becomes a quote from one his damn movies. 'The movie clerks was great because you have to understand the internet conflict of blah blah blah.' I hate Kevin Smith and I have to hear a lot about him because I live in Texas. I wouldn't want to give the assumption that I'm angry per se, but if you can catch my drift you're on the trolley.

i feel that way a lot because i have a very small vocabulary, so when i explain things people are like huh? and when people explain things to me i dont know what a lot of words mean.

its my own fault i guess, i dont know.
