So the new year is here. It's off to a not-so-good start already.

I figured he would have told me about his little meet-up next week, but he didn't. I really hope he doesn't tell me tonight. I'm kind of hoping he tells me over the phone so I can just hang up on him because that's the easiest thing to do. When will he learn?

My first credit card application was denied today. What an occasion to celebrate because I still received 15% off of my super-large total. I don't think I have ever spent that much at that store, but it sure was worth it. And 15% off of everything on top of that!

So Adam surprised me and came home on Sunday afternoon instead of late Monday night. I was so happy to see him, you don't understand. I was going crazy on Saturday without him. I'm glad he came back early and I know he was too. (:

Court this morning was fun. I got lost getting there, of course, thanks to constuction zones. First ticket got changed to a speedometer defect (only 2 points instead of 4) and the second ticket was changed to a 4-point violation of 19 mph over the speed limit instead of 6 points and 25 mph over.
