We're home, and at work, and not stuck in Tennessee floodwaters. But it took us 18 hours of driving to get here. Oy. Having to spend a bunch of extra money on food, gas, and hotel is sucktastic. That's what we were Saturday, when we arrived many hours late to help my friends in Alexandria move. We were the only people to show up, aside from friend's parents, and only the dad helped, and the dad had something like 6 surgeries in the last 3 months on his arms/hands. Trying to relax, breathe, and eat soup. Resolving issues over the phone gets my anxiety up, makes me feel like I've had a jug of coffee.
