I've been basically dead to the world for the last week. They've started training me on night shift and it's absolutely killing me. With Kyle out with boobies and beer I was like "woohoo, a night alone!" He's only been gone an hour and I'm already bored. Nothing on TV, tired of playing civilization 3, have watched all of the movies I have at least six times... so now what? I even cleaned. The dog doesn't even wanna play with me. But Katie is on the phone so yay!

I am so tired of orientation. Today and tommorrow I have classes nonstop from 8 to 4:30, which means I hit traffic both ways. We're just doing a review of nursing school in like 3 weeks. A lot of information that isn't really helping. I just want to be working on the floor, doing my thing. And I only want to work 3 days a week like most nurses ( Read more... )

Well... It's 5:36 in the morning and I'm ready to go. I don't have to leave until 6:15 or so. Am I just getting so used to my morning routine I'm doing it faster and faster? So today was my first day of work. I had to miss my grandma's funeral because of it. One of my cousins told me Grandma would come down from Heaven and kick my ass if she found out I passed up even a day of work to come see her.
