I'm so upset. I just found out my dad donated two bags of stuffed animals that I had really wanted to keep. I know, I know, you're probably thinking "aren't you too old for stuffed animals, anyway?" or "now they're going to make less fortunate kids happy", which is all true, but there were some really sentimental stuffed animals in that bag.

I had this retarded stuffed shark I bought at Hershey Park a long, long time ago, and he was my favorite toy for most of my childhood. He purred when you pressed him. A shark. It was really stupid.

But then my parents tossed him and I've never really gotten over it.

So, my point is, don't beat yourself up for being a little childish. That's your right. It's sad enough you lost two bags full of memories; you shouldn't feel additionally worse because you're upset by that fact.

*hugs* I totally have a huge attachment to my stuffed animals, too. I've been getting rid of them by the bag fulls for years (around Christmas time, I give away 2-4 bags)--yeah, I have that many--and it like turns my stomach every time I get rid of some. ;-;

Don't worry, I'd be annoyed/upset if someone made me give away my stuffed animals too. I'd probably hide them all instead, so I wouldn't have to give them away. ;x

I have these two Mets bears my dad got me when he went to Mets baseball games that I slept with every night and even brought with me on vacation when I was little. If those were suddenly given away, I'd be devastated. T_T So I can feel your pain!
