Yes! I don't know how he can stay motivated all the time! He's just that type of person, I suppose! Also, it helps when you don't have to learn thousands of kanji/meanings/readings like those studying Japanese! It's only 26 letters in the English alphabet! But English is still a very difficult language to learn.
