Some very interesting things have led me to make some observations on some non-hetero relationships within the Gleeverse.

No, this all makes sense!

Here is my thing with Brittany/Artie, I actually thought they were quite sweet at first, once Artie got over his little hissy fit, so I don't hate them,I just sometimes find it a little bit creepy simply because Brittany is so so childlike, that things like the magic comb, and the santa clause episode just make me think she shouldn't be having sex with anyone! That its almost paedophilic. And oddly enough, she seemed a lot less childish in that sense of being gullible when around Santana.

I would love it if they explored bisexuality properly, but not if they show it in a Brittany and Santana make out because guys think its hot and dig it, sense of the word, which is I think how they're bordering on showing it occasionally. I would like them to have some sort of, for each other, relationship..if that makes sense!

I certainly don't hate Bartie, or think its the end of Britana, but sometimes I have mixed feelings about it is all.

Yeah I know what you mean. Brittany is one of my favourite characters, I absolutely LOVE her, but I think sometimes that they did a disservice to her making her seem SO young/naive. I think they need to encourage the idea that like you said Lauren, Brittany is very open-minded, rather than her being kind of dumb, you know? Like if they set her as someone very superstitious then the magic comb would make a lot more sense. Don't get me wrong i loved that episode and I do really like her and Artie together, it just seems like she is very very young with him and they emphasize that a little too much.

As for her and Santana I am ready for that to happen asap. ASAP. And apart from anything else, they are all meant to be teenagers which does mean trying a lot of new things and also thinking you're 'in love' one week and not the next.

Oh Preach, Rach, PREACH!

I honestly do feel that Brit believes in magic and in Santa because she doesn't see why stuff like that shouldn't happen. I don't think she sees limitations. She didn't question how hers and santanas Britney hallucinations melded and she didn't even see it as a hallucination, she saw it as an affirmation of her talent. Which, hell yeah! Bitch is flawless!

I do agree that she is starting to come off as v. Childlike and possibly mentally unstable, so it needs to be adressed.

Santittany needs to happen, but without crushing Artie :( I love my Wheels! He's so awesome and so uncool he's cool.

I love Glee. Too much. :(

I know, Artie was already crushed by Tina, it can't happen again! I got the first season on dvd for Christmas and after I read this post I just got back into bed and watched two episodes, haha. I can't wait for the next half of the second season to begin!
