Coming out
Frank told my captain yesterday! So in three weeks he will be transferring to Millburn. We are not telling the crew just yet, but I have to tell the mates an merchants. Mostly because Kristine likes watching my face turn bright red! But it's very exciting to be out! I hate secrets!

Holy shit. Four times in one day.
I met up with frank at noon at his grandparents house and we went for a run. About 4 1/2 miles or so. Then we were sitting on their stoop talking (no one was home) and got a little frisky in their sun porch. On the floor, but every wall was windows about 2 feet off the ground. So every morning for the past week I've set my alarm to go off at 6 or 6:20, depending on my schedule, so that I can get up and go running. Cuz I really have nothing big to do during the days, other than one day of jury duty, but it's still too hot during the day to even consider running. I wish I had more than 15 minutes on the computer. Sorry there will be no update tonight, though it is needed, since I only have three minutes left.
We built a 710 ft trail in two days. Yay. Now back to clearing out blackberries and crap. I can't wait til March 26th...

my year of service
I got accepted to AmeriCorps!!!! I got my letter today, my sister called and read it to me. I need to get a physical, get fingerprinted, and maybe something else, and mail it before April 30th. Which means I'll be going home to go to the doctor, so that'll be Thursday, April 26th from 10am-3pm. Very freaking short visit, I know. It also means that ( Read more... )
