Adam, these are beautiful and remind me why I have so much faith in you as a poet. I hope you get to soak in the foreign-ness of everything around you, relish it whether it is uncomfortable or exquisite. Take photos. Write. Be where you are, fully.
Thank you for your dedication. Most people I know who have tried that book have gotten to page 100 or so and stopped. Every time somebody finishes The Brothers Karamazov a little bit of my faith in humanity is regained.
Ha, the first 100 pages are pretty boring compared to the rest of the novel. I promised myself I would finish the book in Egypt and as of last night I accomplished that. It's one of my favorite books ever now.
A friend in need.

Hi Adam, My name is Miracris, you don't know me. I'm a friend of LaTanya's. She's going through a lot right now. I've done all that I can to be there for her, but she is going through pain that I cannot begin to understand. I know that you can offer her more comfort than I ever could. Please talk to her. Please be there for her. Thank you. ~Miracris
