Today was my last day this month at this middle school. I don't know why I work there so little this month. Whatever. I had two free periods in the teacher room to entertain myself. You know, I've gotta love how American foreign language textbooks try to focus on the culture of the coutntries where they speak the language being, but in Japan the textbook is all about okonomiyaki and playing the koto. It also makes me think of how language immersion camps in the U.S. try to have ethnic food, but the one English language immersion camp I went to was 90% washoku.

Also, yes. The language camp I worked at two weeks ago was 100% washoku. WTF. It was more Japanese food than I'd had in a while.

Well, email always works. You know my address, still, right? Just pound out a long one and I can reply whenever. Phone calls are harder to time. Some days I have day work in the public schools, some days (in the near future) I'll be in the conversation school at night, and (somehow wonder of wonders) there is a guy in my life these days. In other words: My schedule is all over the place. Skype's always good? IDK.
